I hope you had a good break over the Summer (which seems to have ended too soon!) and have returned to the office refreshed and ready to take on the challenges that lie ahead.
I look forward to seeing many of you at this year's half day APB seminar on Tuesday 21st September which is very kindly being hosted by BLP and sponsored by Property Week. We have a wide ranging panel of speakers lined up for this year's event including Graham Emmet (NAMA), Rob Clayton (Duet Private Equity), Ingeborg Warschke (Helaba), Andrew Radkiewicz (Pramerica) and Caroline Philips (Eurohypo) so it promises to be a lively debate about where the market is now and what the future holds in store. Will the final quarter of the year see an increase in activity with more stock coming to market and banks exiting more problem loans or a period of reduced activity in investment markets nervous about yields and rental growth. It will be interesting to hear the views of our speakers on this and other issues facing the property industry.
